Funeral services for Leroy Musfeldt were held Friday, April 6, 1979, 2:01 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Manning with Pastor Edward F. Heinicke officiating. Dorothy Kusel was organist.

Leroy, son of Julius and Emma Joens Musfeldt, was born March 8, 1913 near Manning, Iowa. He graduated from the Gray High School in 1930 arid then engaged in farming with the exception of a couple of years spent at Scranton, Iowa. He was united in marriage with Verna Schroeder on June 2, 1936, at Manning. They have farmed near Manning since that time.

Leroy was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church at Manning. He died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, April 3, 1979, at the age of 66 years and 25 days.

He was preceded in death by his father, Julius.

He is survived by his wife, Verna and by four sons, Lauron of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; Ralph of Boulder, Colorado; Dale of Ankeny; and Roger of Omaha, Nebraska; by nine grandchildren; by his mother, Mrs. Emma Musfeldt of Manning; and by one brother, Alvin Musfeldt of Manning; as well as by many other relatives and friends.
