Leona A. Willesen, 97, retired childcare provider was born November 18, 1903, and died Monday, July 16, 2001.

Service 10 a.m. Wednesday, Fairlawn Burial Park Hutchinson, Kansas.

Daughter of Henry and Margaretha (Wunderlich) Ahrendsen.

Siblings: Ella Lampe and Hugo Ahrendsen.

Survivors: son, Glen of Hutchinson; daughter, Janine Osborn of South Hutchinson; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial established with Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Leona was married to Charles Willesen and together were the parents of Milton and Glen.
Charles is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas, with his second wife, Barbara.
