LEONA NULLE MOORE

Leona Nulle Moore, 80, of Manning died Sunday, December 11, 1988, at Manning General Hospital.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Manning, the Rev. Sushil Joseph officiating.

Burial will be in the Manning City Cemetery, under the direction of the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.

Visitation will begin today after 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born June 15, 1908, near Manning, Mrs. Moore was the daughter of George and Bertha (Nulle) Struve.

She attended country school and seamstress school in Manning.

On August 20, 1930, she married Harry Nulle, and they farmed near Gray for many years. He died in 1976.

On January 5, 1979, she married Clinton Moore. They lived in Manning.

She was a member of the Methodist Church and the ladies church group. She was also a member of the Friendly Hour Club.

Survivors include her husband, Clinton of Manning; four children: Merlin Nulle and his wife, Alta, of Westside, William Nulle and his wife, Linda, of Marion, Marlene (Mrs. Robert) Joens of Montrose, Colorado, and Lila (Mrs. Terry) Wendelboe of Spirit Lake; a step-daughter, Dorothy (Mrs. Ralph) Grundmeier of Manning; two step-sons, Robert Moore and his wife, Ardella, of Carroll, and Edward Moore of Waterloo and his wife, Darlene, of Waterloo; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren, and 13 step-great-grandchildren; two half sisters, Ruby Edmunds and Ruth Gerkin and a half brother, Roy Struve.

She was preceded in death by parents, her first husband, and a sister, Gladys (Struve) McWilliams.
