Mrs. Frank (Lena Christine) Wulf, 92, of Westside, died Tuesday, May 13, 1980, at the Manning General Hospital where she had been a patient in the infirmary wing for about two and a half years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the United Church-South in Westside with the Rev. Gary Lynn Wooster, pastor of the Wheatland Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial, under the direction of the Ohde Funeral Home of Manning, will be in the Manning Cemetery.
A prayer service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Mary) Dixon, Westside; four sons: Warren, Sioux City; Frank, San Diego, California; Winston, Westside, and Charles Wulf, Beaumont, Texas; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Dora Jans, Mapleton, Minnesota.
She was preceded by her husband, parents, a brother and four sisters.
Mrs. Wulf was born December 20, 1897, in Omaha, a daughter of Hans and Dorothea (Lantau) Lamp. She moved with her family to the Westside area as a young girl where she attended schools in Hayes Township. She was married to Frank Wulf February 18, 1925. He died in 1938. Since that time she had made her home in Westside until she entered the hospital. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and had been a member of the Women's Guild of the Westside Church of Christ.
