Miss Lena Topf funeral services will be February 22 Funeral services for Miss Lena Topf, 88, wild be held at 1:00 on Thursday, February 22, at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, with Pastor George B. Eschenbacher of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in St Paul's Cemetery near Charter Oak.

Miss Topf died on Sunday evening, February 18, 1962, at Perry Nursing Home in Carroll. She entered St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll five weeks ago, and was transferred to the nursing home.

Daughter of William and Cecelia (Horst) Topf, Lena was born at Port Byron, Illinois, on October 1, 1873, and came to the Charter Oak area with her parents as a child. She was a dressmaker in Denison and Omaha; then stayed with her mother in Charter Oak until her death. Some 33 years ago she came to Manning, where she made her home with Mrs. Anna Stammer.

She is survived by a brother, Ernest Topf of Sioux City, and a sister, Mrs. Augusta Reetz, Manning.
