LARRY L. WALLACE
INDIANOLA - Larry L. Wallace, 72, of Indianola, died Tuesday
(April 30, 2002) at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Overton Funeral Home in
Indianola. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Memorial
Park Cemetery, Highway 18 West, in Mason City.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral
home.
Larry L. Wallace was born in Manning, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1969. He lived in Mason City, working for the Department of Transportation from which he retired. In December of 1991, he moved to Indianola.
He was a member of V.F.W. Post No. 733 in Mason City, American Legion Post No. 165 of Indianola, K.W.V.A. (Korean War Veterans Association) and the 24th Infantry Division Association.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, bowling, shopping and doing jigsaw puzzles.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Wallace, of Indianola.
Memorials may be given to American Legion Post No. 165 in
Indianola or Indianola Fire & Rescue in his memory.
