Larry Dean Plummer, 78, passed away August 26, 2015, in Nacogdoches Medical Center ICU in Nacogdoches, Texas. Larry was born January 25, 1937, in Manning, Iowa, to William and Mildred (Ohrt) Plummer. Larry was in the United States Army National Guard, and he worked as a lineman for the Department of Water and Power in Los Angeles. He was a member of the Liberty Springs Methodist Church, and was a mason in California, and he was a member of the local Volunteer Fire Department in his community. Larry will be missed dearly by his family and friends; he was a loving husband, dad, grandfather, and friend.
He is survived by his wife Mary Lou "Sammie" Plummer of Milam, his sons: Chad Plummer of Bakersfield, California, Kyle Plummer and wife Mikin of Bakersfield, California, and Gabriel Godinez and wife Diane of Bakersfield, California, his grandchild Andrew Godinez of Bakersfield, California, his close friends Bobby Howard of Bakersfield, California, Johnny Stanley of Milam, and all of his neighbors in the Playcation area.
