MRS. JOHN (KATHRYN) RUDNICK

MANNING — Mrs. John (Kathryn) Rudnick, 73, of Manning, died Thursday at the Manning General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ohde Funeral Home here with the Rev. Henry Knoke, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lincoln township, Audubon County, officiating. Burial will be in the Lincoln township cemetery. Mrs. Dorothy Kusel will be organist at the rites.
Casketbearers will be Melvin Meier, Dan Mathiesen, Dr. R.R. Dappen, Harry Dreier, Oscar Rudnick and Ronald Hansen with interment in Lincoln Township Cemetery, Audubon County, Iowa.

Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Friday.

Surviving are a daughter, LaVonne Rudnick, Manning; a sister, Marie Kraus living at Friendship Home, Audubon; two nephews and a niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother and a sister.

Mrs. Rudnick was born April 11, 1906 at Minot, N.D., a daughter of Philip and Lovie Ord Kraus. As a child she moved to Audubon where she graduated from Audubon High School in 1925. Later she taught in rural schools. She was married to John Rudnick May 9, 1929. They farmed in Audubon County until his death in 1975. After that she made her home in Manning.
