Juletta Ella Tibben, the daughter of Fred and Ella (Olsen) Nissen, was born near Hamlin, Iowa, and died at the Audubon County Memorial Hospital at the age of 55 years, 9 months, and 25 days.

She was baptized and confirmed at the Hamlin Lutheran Church and was presently a member of Trinity Lutheran Church northwest of Audubon. She was graduated from Audubon High School with the Class of 1941 and taught school south of Hamlin and in Hamlin several years.

On June 30, 1946, she married Wayne Tibben at Hamlin. They farmed all of their married life in Audubon County and since 1965 have lived at their farm home northwest of Audubon.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Lester Nissen.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne; her children: Clark at home and Gale and his wife Doris of Spirit Lake, Iowa; one granddaughter, Jana Tibben; and her brothers and sisters: Elmer Nissen of Exira; Regina Madsen of Des Moines; Elnora, Mrs. Hans Jessen of Guthrie Center; Daisy Thysen and Fred Nissen both of Audubon; Marvan Nissen of Exira.

The family of Mrs. Tibben appreciates the many expressions of sympathy and concern. Everyone is invited to meet with them in the church basement following the committal service.
