MRS. AMALIA SCHOLL Mrs. Josephine Amalia Scholl, 77, of Manning died at 4:08 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 1968, at the Perry Nursing Home in Carroll.

The casket has been taken by Twit Funeral Home coach to the Patterson-James Funeral Home at Rockwell, Iowa. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Rockwell, Iowa.

Mrs. Scholl was born March 21, 1890, at Guttenberg, a daughter of Matthias and Julia (Johll) Rohner. Her marriage to Arthur Nathan Scholl took place at Rockwell on January 20, 1914. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Manning.

Surviving are five children: Mrs. Joe (Julia Mae) Reida and Evan Scholl, Omaha; Melvin Scholl, Manning; Sisters, M. Geramine and Marie Evan, both of Sinsinawa, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren, and the following sisters and brother: Mrs. Clara Scholl, Mason City; Mrs. Anna Boble, Dubuque; Frank Rohner, Garnarvillo; and Mrs. George (Frances) Spielbauer, Guttenberg.

Her husband died in 1941.

Three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
