JOSEPH F. SEYLLER
Joseph Frank Seyller, 94, Manning, died Sunday morning, April 6, 1969, following a long illness at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ben Sextro in Manning. He had lived at the Sextro home for the last 20 years and had been bedfast since suffering a stroke 11 years ago.

Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church, Templeton, with interment there in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Norbert Weber of Manning will officiate. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, where the rosary will be recited at 8 and 8:30 p.m. both Monday and Tuesday.

Mr. Seyller, son of John and Rose (Heitzler) Seyller, was born near Geneseo, Illinois, December 3, 1874.

At the age of 12 he came with his family to a farm southeast of Templeton. On February 20, 1900, he was married to Mary Hoffman at Mt. Carmel and they farmed southwest of Templeton.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Sextro (Loretta) of Manning and Mrs. Herman (Martha) Meyer of Carroll; a son, Walter Seyller, Carroll; five grandchildren, Bernice, Loren, and Eldon Sextro, Mrs. Karen Wieland, and Angela Seyller.

Mr. Seyller was preceded in death by his wife on September 15, 1944; five brothers, Henry, John, Louie, Frank, and Albert; and four sisters, Mrs. Frances Hoffman, Mrs. Elizabeth Hoffman, Mrs. Anna Murray and one in infancy.
