John Alois Singsank, 78, of Manning died at the Manning General Hospital Tuesday noon, December 21, 1976. He entered the hospital several days ago.
Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Sacred Heart Church in Manning with the Rev. Norbert Weber, M.S.C. officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Manning, under the direction of the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning after 1 p.m. Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday by the Altar and Rosary Society.
Mr. Singsank, son of Theodore and Margaret (Lucas) Singsank, was born December 13, 1898, at Templeton.
His marriage to Jennie Muhlbauer took place on January 16, 1923. They farmed near Manning and 22 years ago moved to Manning. His wife died on August 21, 1972, and he continued to live in Manning.
Surviving are seven children: Earl Singsank of Manning, Mrs. Russell (Margaret) Popp of Ute, Mrs. Donald (Ardella) Berg of Westside, Glenn Singsank of Manning, Mrs. Merlin (Verna) Hass of Manning, Mrs. Earl (Laurel) Vogl of Carroll, Mrs. Gary (Cleo) Hansen of Manilla, 24 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
