JOHN ALBERT PETERSEN Funeral services for John Albert "Bert" Petersen, 69, will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Manning with the Pastor Edward F. Heinicke officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Mr. Petersen died at St. Anthony's Hospital in Carroll January 1, 1968.

Mr. Petersen was born March 25, 1898, at Muscatine, the son of Andrew and Katherine Petersen. As a young boy he moved with his family to Clinton. In 1915, they moved to the Westside area.

Mr. Petersen was married to Hilda Frahm on March 12, 1924. They farmed in the Manning area until 1960 when they moved to Manning.

Mr. Petersen is survived by his wife, one son, Donald Petersen of Carroll, five grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Herman Lamp of Westside, and a brother, Ed Petersen of Webster City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.
