The body will be returned to Manning tonight by the Ohde Funeral Home. Services have not been arranged.
Survivors include two children, Mrs. Frances (LaVaun) Werdell, Chicago; and Jack, Manning; two brothers, George, Manning, Ed, Sioux City, three sisters, Mrs. Christine McMahon, Manilla; Mrs. June Lonseth, Sioux City; and Mrs. Loretta Nesladeck, Lake Andes, South Dakota; and four grandchildren.
Son of Johann and Dorothea (Carstens) Peters, he was born
September 15, 1891 in Arcadia, and died July 6, 1949, with burial in the Manning Cemetery.

Jack Peters Rites Set for Saturday
Funeral services for Jack Peters of Manning, who died in a Des Moines hospital
Wednesday, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ohde Funeral Home here. The Rev. Harlan Kruse, minister of the Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.
Mr. Peters is survived by his wife, two children, two
brothers, three sisters and four grandchildren.
