MRS. JESSIE VOGE

Mrs. Jessie (Lamp) Voge, 70, of Manning died Thursday evening, May 11, 1967, at Stewart Memorial Hospital in Lake City. She had resided in a Lake City nursing home for the past five years. Rites will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Ohde Funeral Home at Manning, with burial in the Manning Cemetery. The Rev. Patrick Nooney, pastor of Sacred Heart Church, Manning, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. James A. Fandel of Lake City. Friends may call at Ohdes after 4 p.m. Saturday.

Mrs. Voge, daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Wiese) Lamp, was born in Crawford County December 24, 1896. She attended school near her home. She married Henry Voge on September 5, 1917, and they farmed west of Manning. He died in 1949. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Charles and Marvin Lamp.

She is survived by a son, Gerhardt T. Voge of Manning; five grandchildren and five brothers, Frank Lamp, Carroll; Virtus, Herman, and Gerhardt Lamp, Manning; and Ed Lamp of Denison.
