The sad news came to Manning from Des Moines last Sunday that Mrs. Jennie (Perry) Young of that place, but formerly of Manning, being one of the pioneers here, died that day. Her husband, Andrew Young, died about eighteen months ago on November 17, 1910, and she was buried beside him. At her death she was 82 years, of age. Her brother E.C. Perry of Manning is the only living member of a family of ten children. Burial took place last Monday. The deceased was well known here, having many friends who sincerely mourn her death.
