MRS. JOHN SINGSANK
Requiem mass for Mrs. John (Jennie) Singsank, 67, of Manning was celebrated at noon Thursday in Sacred Heart Church here by the Rev. Norbert Weber, MSC.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Russell Popp, Jr., Michael Berg, Kenneth Berg, Jon Hass, Ronald Vogl, and Thomas Irlbeck. Burial was in the parish cemetery, under direction of the Ohde Funeral Home of Manning.

Mrs. Singsank died August 21, 1972, at Manning General Hospital after being in failing health since April.

A daughter of Joseph and Johanna (Schillinger) Muhlbauer, she was born at Halbur June 15, 1905, and attended St. Augustine School in Halbur. Her marriage to Mr. Singsank took place at St. Augustine Church here January 16, 1923, and they farmed near Manning until moving into town about 18 years ago.

She worked at the Manning General Hospital for about six years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church here and of the parish Altar Society.

Mrs. Singsank is survived by her husband, seven children, 24 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five sisters, and a brother.

Preceding her in death were a granddaughter, two brothers, Charles and Joseph Muhlbauer, and a sister, Mrs. Kate Riesselman.
