Funeral Services For Miss Parker to Be Wednesday
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ohde Funeral home for Miss Jennie Parker, 81, who died at her farm home at the northeast edge of Manning during the night Wednesday, June 10, 1948. She had been ill for some time.

The Rev. Brown Garlock, minister of the Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Born November 29, 1866, Miss Parker came here from Dixon, Illinois, in 1879 with her parents, John and Mary (Levan) Parker, who at that time bought the farm on which Miss Parker lived at the time of her death.

A sister, Minnie, who made her home with Miss Parker, died a few years ago. Three other sisters are deceased, Mrs. Ida Rocksien, Mrs. Clara Waugh, and Grace Parker.

Miss Parker leaves one brother, Charles, of Manning.

She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Methodist Church.
