MRS. JENNIE MISKIMINS
Mrs. Jennie Miskimins, 81, of Manning died Friday night, April 5, 1968, at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll, where she had been taken the night before. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Christian Church at Audubon, with burial in Cameron Township, Audubon County. The Rev. James Snyder officiated.

Arrangements were in charge of the Ohde Funeral Home of Manning.

Mrs. Miskimins was born March 27, 1887, at Mt. Carmel, Illinois, a daughter of Austin and Susan (McNamara) Baldwin. She moved with them to a farm in Cameron Township, Audubon County, as a child and attended schools in Cameron and Lincoln Townships. On April 17, 1907, she married Bert Miskimins and they farmed in this area. He died September 30, 1958, and Mrs. Miskimins then moved to Audubon. She became a resident of the Manning Plaza Nursing Home in January 1967.

Surviving are a son, Walter, of Templeton; 5 grandsons and 12 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister, and a great-granddaughter.
