Rev. A.F. Schuldt, pastor of the Methodist Church, will officiate.
Interment will be in the cemetery at Manning, Iowa, under the direction of the Duschl Funeral home of Mapleton.
Jane Mildred George, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John George, was born July 7, 1879, near Yorkville, Wisconsin. The family moved to Coon Rapids in 1884 where she grew to womanhood. She attended the schools there and was graduated from the Coon Rapids High school. Later she taught in rural schools.
She was married June 24, 1903, to Charles W. Parker in Coon Rapids. They established their home there, later residing In Algona, Iowa, and Draper, South Dakota, before coming to Mapleton in 1915 where they have made their home since.
Mrs. Parker Joined the Methodist Church early in life and was an active worker, especially in the Sunday School department, until the last few years when her health failed. She had been a patient sufferer with cirrhosis of the liver during the last 20 months, being able to be up and around only part of the time.
She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Gordon Durst of Danbury. She also is survived by two sisters, Mrs. T.J. Williams of Estes Park, Colorado; and Mrs. O.W Horsley of Draper, South Dakota; and one brother, W.T George, of Paradise, California.
