Irene Grace (Bingham) Rowedder, 70, of 1219 E. Barham Drive, space 173, died August 20 in Palomar Memorial Hospital in Escondido.

She was born May 15, 1910, in Iowa and had lived in San Marcos for seven years and in California for 41 years.

Surviving are her husband, Elmer; one sister, Lois Rumsey of Escondido; and one brother.

Burial will be in Manning Cemetery in Manning, Iowa.

Friends may call until 5 p.m. today and from 9 to 5 p.m. August 23 at the Alhiser-Wilson Mortuary Chapel in Escondido.
