Irene Namanny
The area beside a graveside service will be held December 23, 2005, and a memorial service will be held December 27 for Irene Gertrude Namanny of Eugene, Oregon, who died December 19 of age-related causes. She was 95.
Namanny was born April 2, 1910, in Manning, Iowa, to John and Minnie (Bahr) Brink. She married Theodore Brummond on November 9, 1927, and they later divorced. She married Lawrance Namanny on May 4, 1961, and they later divorced.
Namanny was educated through the eighth grade, and was a personnel manager for F.W. Woolworth's stores for 50 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and also liked cooking, gardening and playing cards. She had been a member of Grace Lutheran Church since 1947 and was active in the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Krumdieck of Eugene; a son, Ronald Brummond of Eugene; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A son, Alvin, and three sets of twin children, including Duane, Delores, Donald, Doris and two others, died previously.
Friday's service will be at 10:30 a.m. at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene. Tuesday's service will be at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Eugene. Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
