Services for Irene (Martens) Meggers, 53, were to be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Zion Lutheran Church here. The lifelong resident of Manning died Tuesday, June 28, 1960, at an Omaha hospital after becoming suddenly ill.

Daughter of Emil and Malinda (Mundt) Martens, she was born May 9, 1907.

Surviving is her husband, Eddie; a daughter, Mrs. Russell Frank of Manning, two brothers and a sister.

Burial was to be in the Manning Cemetery.
