Inza "Ina" Roosa, 87, of Thompkins Memorial Health Center in Fort Dodge died Friday morning, March 27, 1992, at the center.

Services were held Monday, March 30, 1992, at Bruce's Funeral Home with Mrs. Charlotte James, former reader of the First Church of Christian Scientist, officiating. Burial was held at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Inza Marie Lage was born November 26, 1904, in Manning. She attended Manning schools and graduated from Manning High School in 1924. After graduation, she married Lyle Roosa in Manning. They farmed in the Manning vicinity for a number of years. Later they moved to Border Plains, near Lehigh. She lived there until entering Friendship Haven in 1988. She had been employed as a cook in the Fort Dodge school system and also did housecleaning at Friendship Haven. Her husband died in 1954.

Inza was proceeded in death by her husband, Lyle; parents, Jacob and Emma (Witt) Lage; and a grandson.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Dilges, of Sarasota, Florida; sons: Dean Roosa of Ames and Donald Roosa of Lehigh; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters: Hazel Ehlers of Manning and Ruth Schroeder of Denison; and a brother, Glen Lage of Fort Dodge.

She was a member of the First Church of Christian Scientist, Fort Dodge; the Evanston Birthday Club; and the Garden Memories Club of Lehigh.
