The Rev. Gordon Zimmerman, pastor of the Audubon Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Hayes Township Cemetery.
Suffered Stroke
Mrs. Petersen, who had contracted pneumonia two weeks ago, suffered a stroke Thursday night.
Ingaborg Kathryn Paysen was born to John and Lucia Paysen February 19, 1873, in Germany. At the age of nine years, she came to America with her family, their destination being Clinton, Iowa. She made her home there until her marriage to Mr. Petersen on July 27, 1894.
After living in Monmouth, Illinois; and Muscatine, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Petersen returned to Clinton and resided there until 1914, when they moved to Westside.
In 1925, Mr. and Mrs. Petersen came to Manning, where he was engaged as a carpenter. Following the death of her husband in 1940, Mrs. Petersen resided in Manning until 1948, when she went to Lake View to live with her son, Edward, and family. Because, of failing health, she spent the winters in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lamp, at Westside.
Survivors
Surviving are three children: Bert Petersen, Manning;
Mrs. Lamp (Elsa), Westside, and Edward Petersen, Webster City; three
grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Nielsen, Orange Park, Florida.
Two daughters, Louise and Elma, and a son, Andrew, preceded her in death.
