Inez Bernice Noelck
Funeral services for lnez Bernice Noelck, 81, were conducted April 12, at Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia with Pastor Carl Noble officiating. Honorary casket bearers were Justin Ariemann, Lucas Bendlin, Logan Melby, Nathaniel Holmes and Morgan Melby. Casket bearers were Guy Miller, Mark Miller, Terry Holmes, David Keller, Robert Bendlin and Teige Mebly. Interment was in the Manning Cemetery.
Inez Bernice Noelk the daughter 01 August and Anna Bertha Matilda Borkowski Jurgens was born, April 5, 1919 at Lincoln Township in Audubon County and died April 9, 2000, at Rotary Ann Home in Eagle Grove.
She was formerly of Arcadia. She was married to Elmer Henry Noelck on Oct. 10, 1940, at the home of her parents in Lincoln Township Audubon County and in 1959 moved to a farm five miles west of Carroll where they farmed until the death of her husband on June 18, 1976. Inez had worked at Nelsons Mfg. Company in Manning, she had worked in the housekeeping department at St. Anthony Regional Hospital and had been a housemother at New Hope Village in Carroll.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia and she was baptized on May 29, 1919, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Audubon County, and was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith on June 26, 1932, also at Trinity both by Pastor Hugo Neiting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two grandsons; Randy Millet and Steve Miller, a gear-granddaughter, Sarah Bendlin a sister, Alice Schrock and her second husband, Dowel Johnson.
Surviving are a daughter, Deanna Miller and her husband, Robert of Gait; and a son, Royce Noelck and his wife, Ruth of Vail; seven grandchildren: Mark Miller and his wife, Laura: Mary Holmes and her husband, Terry, Dawn Keller and her husband, Dave; Amy Miller and Guy Miller and his wife, Dawn Ann; and Patricia Bendlin and her husband, Robert and Katherine Melby and her husband, Teige; eight great-grandchildren; Abby and Megan Miller, Justin Artemann, Nathaniel Homes, Alexandria Keller, Lucas Bendlin, Logan and Morgan Melby.
