IDA MARIE WIESE
Funeral services for Ida Marie Wiese, 80, of Manning were held on Thursday, August 22 at 2 p.m. at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning. Rev. Don Griffin of United Methodist Church officiated with burial in the Manning Cemetery. Nephews of Mrs. Wiese served as pallbearers.

Ida Marie Wiese, the daughter of Henry and Anna (Schwieso) Grimm, was born on June 18, 1894, in Hayes Township Crawford County. She attended rural schools near her home and united in marriage to William Walter Wiese on September 25, 1918, at Carroll. They farmed Southeast of Manning until they moved into Manning in 1938. Ida has been employed by Mrs. A.F. Smith in Manning for many years. She died suddenly at her home in Manning on Monday noon August 19, 1974.

Mrs. Wiese was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Bill one son, Rockley Wiese of Malvern, one daughter Mrs. Lester (Eunice) Meggers of Manilla, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Genzen of Manning and Mrs. Annie Ewoldt of Manilla.
