The Heavy Hand of Death
Died in Carroll Saturday morning at half after one o'clock, after a long and painful Illness, Ida A. Perry wife of Edward Perry.

Mrs. Perry was born in Greene County of this State, June 10th, 1857, and when she died was twenty-four years and eight months old.

She moved with her parents to Carroll in 1876 where she has resided since.

She was married to Mr. Perry the 25th of September 1881 and has thus been taken from her belove husband after less than five months. She was a member of the Methodist Church and leaves besides her bereaved husband and her aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chambers, a large circle of friends to mourn her loss.

Passed away February 18, 1882, with burial in the Manning Cemetery.
Daughter of Harmon and Harriet (Elmer) Chambers - both buried in West Lawn Cemetery, Glidden, Iowa.
She was married to Edward Crawford Perry September 26, 1881, and both are buried together in the Manning Cemetery.
