FINAL RITES TUESDAY FOR MRS. J.G. MOHR
Funeral services for Mrs. John G. Mohr, 68, were held at the Ohde Funeral home in Manning on Tuesday afternoon, November 30, 1948, at 2:00 with Rev. Harlan Kruse of the Manning Presbyterian Church officiating.

Mrs. Mohr, who had lived in the vicinity of Manning all her life, passed away in her sleep on Sunday morning. She had not been ill.

Ida Mohr, daughter of Hans and Marie Lage, was born May 15, 1880, in Hayes Township. On September 30, 1898, she was married to John G. Mohr, who survives. The Mohrs, who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 30, lived all their married lives on the farm where they were married. They were the parents of three children, two of whom survive. They are: Mrs. Fred Engelmann, (Lena), and Raymond Mohr, of Manning. A son, Fred, passed away two years ago. She also leaves one grandchild, Donald Mohr, a sister, Mrs. John Mundt, Manning, and a half-sister, Mrs. Louise Hoelscher of Minot, North Dakota.

Interment was in Iowa Township Cemetery. Pallbearers were Julius Ranniger, Louie Ranniger, William J. Kruse, Walter Ossenkop, Emil Klindt, and George Graves.

Out of town relatives attending final rites for Mrs. John G. Mohr Tuesday were Mrs. Bill Bartels, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mohr and son, Fred, of Ute; Hannes Kruse and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Brockman of Paullina.
