MRS. HULDA RUHDE
Mrs. Hulda Margaretha Ruhde, 69, of Manning died at 12:08 a.m. Sunday September 26, 1965, at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll where she was taken about a week ago.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Ohde Funeral Home here, with burial in the Manning Cemetery. The Rev. Carl G. Sinning, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Mrs. Ruhde was born September 23, 1896, in Washington Township, Carroll County, a daughter of John and Katie (Frahm) Ohrt. She attended rural schools. On September 20, 1916, she married William Ruhde and they farmed near Manning for several years before moving into town. Since his death on January 6, 1929, Mrs. Ruhde continued to live in Manning. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by five children: Mrs. Marlene Spack, Manning; Mrs. Charles (Marjorie) Loftus, Raeford, North Carolina; Harold Ruhde, Manning; Mrs. Rockley (Dorothy) Wiese, Carroll; and Mrs. Louis (Virgene) Hausmann, Arcadia; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Lillian) Kuhse, Wilmington, California, and Mrs. Vernon (Mildred) Plummer, Oildale, California; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Nellie Ohrt, Manning.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two infant sons; a brother, Julius Ohrt, and another brother in infancy.
