Hilda M. Vogel, 64, of Manning, died Sunday, December 5, 1982, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.
Rite of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, at Sacred Heart Church in Manning with the Rev. Msgr. Dean Walker as celebrant. Gift-bearers will be grandchildren. Serving as casket-bearers will be sons and sons-in-law: Ron, David, Pat, and Bill Vogel; Jerry Muhlbauer, Wayne Sell, and Richard Malone Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
A rosary will be recited at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning at 3 p.m. Monday by the Catholic Daughters of America. A parish rosary, followed by a scriptural prayer service, will conducted at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Vogel is survived by seven children: Ron Vogel, Manning; Mrs. Jerry (Judy) Muhlbauer, Halbur; Mrs. Wayne (Doris) Sell, Silver City, Iowa; David Vogel, Carroll; Marg Vogel, Omaha; Pat Vogel, Council Bluffs, and Bill Vogel, Omaha; seven grandchildren; a son-in-law, Richard Malone, Omaha; two brothers: Frank Kasperbauer, Manning, and Paul Kasperbauer, Templeton, and a sister, Katherine Irlbeck, Dedham.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Paul and Felix Jr.; a daughter, Joan Malone, and a sister, Loretta Venteicher.
Mrs. Vogel was born August 3, 1918, in rural Manning, a daughter of Paul and Catharine (Hacker) Kasperbauer. She was married to Felix Vogel at Templeton on September 24, 1940. They farmed all their married lives. He died on May 23, 1978. She moved to Manning the following year. She was a member of Sacred Heart parish in Manning, the Catholic Daughters of America, the Altar and Rosary Society and the American Legion Auxiliary.
