HILDA A. PETERSEN
Hilda A., daughter of John and Minnie Reimer Frahm, was born on December 16, 1902, in Manning, Iowa. She was graduated from Manning High School and taught rural school around Manning before her marriage to Bert Petersen on March 12, 1924.
They farmed near Manning until his retirement in mid 1960. She worked several places as a nurse's aide after her husband's death in 1968.
Hilda was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a long time member of Homemaker's Club and Home-maker's Past Presidents Club. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
She has been in failing health for some years, but has continued to enjoy her card clubs & has remained in her own home where she died on Wednesday, September 17, 1980, at the age of 77 years, 9 months, 1 day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother in infancy.
Survivors include her son, Don Petersen and his wife Ethel, Carroll, Iowa; six grandchildren; two brothers, Dr. E.W. Frahm, Manning, Ray Frahm of Omaha, Nebraska, one sister, Florence Sickler, Whittier, California; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
