Herold McPherson
November 16, 1900
Manning Monitor

On the 2d instant (November 2) there was born unto Mr. and Mrs. A. McPherson a baby boy. But it would seem that the life of this little one was destined to be very brief, for it got only a glimpse, of this great world when, it was called back to Him who gave it. Short funeral services, conducted by Rev. McLeod, were held at the Hall residence Monday morning, and the little form, resting in a casket of pure white, was laid to rest in the Manning Cemetery.

A.R. McPherson, who has been out in Montana for some time, arrived home on Monday, but not until after the death and burial of his little son. Mr. McPherson has had a 300-mile run between Blackfoot, Montana, and Spokane, Washington.
