HERMAN ULLERICH

Funeral services for Herman Ullerich, 87, who died at his home here early Monday morning, March 9, 1959, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. George Eschenbacher will officiate. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

The body is resting at the Ohde Funeral Home, Born August 22, 1871, in Lincoln Township, Mr. Ullerich was one of the first white babies born in Audubon County. His parents were George and Barbara Lauer Ullerich. The family lived in Lincoln and Douglas Townships and also spent a short time In the Charter Oak community.

In 1897, Mr. Ullerich was married to Nancy Ketelsen. The couple moved back to the home place in Lincoln Township in 1904. Mr. Ullerich lived there until 1937 when he moved with his sons in Carroll County. He had lived in Manning since 1951.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son in infancy and a daughter Clara, July 4, 1958, also five sisters and two brothers.

Surviving are six sons, Walter and Herbert, at home; Lynn and Victor, Audubon; Erwin, San Diego, California; and Hugo, Paducah, Kentucky; one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Rose) Kauth, Paducah, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren and one great-grand-child.
