Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, Manning, with Pastor George Eschenbacher officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Mr. Rowedder, born August 19, 1879, in Clinton County, Iowa, was a son of William and Anna (Kall) Rowedder. He came with his parents to Crawford County.

On February 24, 1903, he was married to Katie Karsten at her home northwest of Manning. The couple farmed in Crawford and Carroll Counties for many years.

Because of Mr. Rowedder's ill health, they moved to Aspinwall in 1942. He had been ill since then.

Mr. Rowedder is survived by his wife; two daughters, Emma Rowedder, at home, and Mrs. Louis (Elsie) Anthony, Westside; two sons, Herbert Rowedder, Manning, and Ivan Rowedder, Denison; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, John and Julius Rowedder, Manning; and three sisters, Mrs. Emma Langbehn and Mrs. Amelia Schroeder, both of Woolsey, South Dakota; and Mrs. Hilda Hansen, Gray.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, William, Henry and Louie Rowedder; a sister in infancy and two other sisters, Mrs. Pete (Laura) Kasperbauer and Mrs. Harry (Lena) Wiese.

Mr. Rowedder was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Manning.
