Died, Saturday, April 13, of spinal meningitis, Herbert Newman, the five months old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Orr. The funeral services were held Sunday at the M.E. Church by Rev. J.M. Ferguson. The remains were interred in Elba Cemetery, near Templeton. The parents have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
