Mr. Wilhelm was found in an alley off Main Street in Manning early Sunday morning and was rushed immediately to Manning General Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Son of Peter and Wiebke Wilhelm he was born in Germany March 8, 1886. He was a retired farmer who had done odd jobs in Manning since his retirement. It was his custom to go out early every morning and this is believed to have been the cause of his death.
Mr. Wilhelm was unmarried and made his home at the Manning Hotel. He is survived by one brother and several nieces and nephews.
