Henry Singsank Succumbs
Rites Set for Monday
Henry Singsank, 56, lifelong resident of Carroll County, died of a heart attack at 6:10 p. m. yesterday at St. Anthony hospital.
Stricken about 3 o'clock in the afternoon, he was taken to the hospital immediately.
Funeral services are set for 9 a. m. Monday at St. Joseph's church, of which Mr. Singsank was a member. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
The body is at the Olerich Funeral home, where the rosary will be prayed at 8 o'clock each evening before the final rites.
Mr. Singsank had worked at Edmund Schroeder's grocery store here the last several months. He had previously been employed at C.H. Hermsen's tavern for nine years.
Mr. Singsank, son of Theodore and Margaret Singsank, was born April 19, 1893, at Templeton where he attended Sacred Heart school.
His marriage to Lidwina Krapfl took place January 11, 1915, at Templeton, with the Rev. Fr. Erd man officiating.
Surviving with his wife are four daughters and one son: Mrs. George Fiedler (Leola), Scranton; Mrs. Alvin Laurinat (Edna), Spirit Lake; W.J. Singsank, Carroll; Mrs. Melvin Olberding (Jeanette), Carroll, and Mrs. Arthur W. Jones (Elaine), Wichita, Kan.
He also leaves nine grandchildren; one brother, John Singsank, Manning, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Halbur (Barbara), Halbur. A sister, Mrs. George Hermsen (Kate), preceded him in death.
