Funeral services for Henry M. Ream, 64, Manning farmer, will be held on Friday morning,
February 10 at 11:00 at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, with Rev Carl G. Sinning
of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.
Son of David and Alva Ream, he was born June 28, 1902, at Brookline, Missouri, and attended schools there. He worked in Springfield, Missouri, and came to this area in 1930, when he worked on various farms.
He was married January 24, 1944, at Carroll to Marian Joachimsen, and since that time the couple farmed near Manning.
He entered Manning General Hospital on February 1, and passed away there on the evening of February 6. He had suffered a stroke. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and brother. He is survived by his wife; and the following sisters and brother: Mrs. Mabel Miller, Alfred Ream, Springfield, Missouri; Miss Myrtle Ream, Kansas City, Missouri, and Mrs. Joseph (Jennie) Lane, Corpus Christi, Texas; also an aunt, Mrs. Herbert Flowers of Kansas City.
