MRS. HELENA ROWEDDER
Mrs. Helena Rowedder, 85, a longtime resident of Manning, died early Thursday, June 11, 1970, at Friendship Home, Audubon, where she had resided for the last ten years.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Manning, with Pastor Edward F. Heinicke officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery; nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home here after 2 p.m., Friday.

Mrs. Rowedder was born January 11, 1885, in Iowa Township, Crawford County, a daughter of John and Hannah (Sievertsen) Joachimsen.

Her marriage to Will Rowedder took place June 8, 1904, and they lived at Manning with the exception of 2 1/2 years spent at Payette, Idaho.

Survivors include a son, Elmer, of Inglewood, California; a daughter, Mrs. Delbert (Ione) Kullbom, Atlantic; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Lohrmann, Westside, and Mrs. Bertha Mundt, Manning.

Mrs. Rowedder was preceded in death by her husband on June 30, 1954; also by a daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Verna) Frahm; a son, Lester; three grandchildren, two brothers, and two sisters.
