Hedwig Wilhelmina, Daughter of Franz and Wilhelmina Lauer was Born on April 30, 1900, in Reinbeck, Iowa.
Heda was united in marriage to Gustav Rudnick on July 25, 1920, in Reinbeck. They bought a farm in Audubon County and lived there many years. Upon retirement in the early 1970s they bought a house in Manning, Iowa and a second home in Phoenix, Arizona. They lived in Manning in the summer and wintered in Arizona.
Heda died April 12, 1979, and is buried in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix.
Heda is survived by her husband Gus Rudnick; son Reinhardt and wife Edna of Phoenix; son Norman and wife Joann of Oakland, California; daughter Marilyn Collier and husband Lanny of North Bend, Washington; son Gordon and wife Evelyn of Tonto Basin, Arizona; 10 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law August Rudnick and his wife Vivian of Wall Lake, Iowa; brother-in-law Oscar Rudnick of Milford, Iowa; sister-in-law Dorothy Rudnick of Milford, Iowa; sister in law Bertha French of Spencer, Iowa; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Ernest, Frank, and Albert; and sisters Elisa, Martha, Emma Dietrich; Louise Schmidt and Agnes Monter.

Services conducted by Pastor Robert W. Schaller 11:30 a.m. Monday in Chapel of Memories, A.L. Moore & Sons.
Interment Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
