Final Rites Held At Manning Chapel For Mrs. Mehanna
Funeral services for Mrs. Mehanna, 42, who passed, away at her home in Manning Wednesday afternoon, September 14, 1945, were held in the Ohde Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Arthur Raeside, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, conducting the services. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery. Pallbearers were Julius Wehrmann, Charles Loftus, Lester Rowedder, Henry Peters, Oliver Jentsch, and George Graves. Music was furnished by a quartet with Bonita (Mrs. Henry W.) Hagedorn at the organ.

Mrs. Mehanna was born Hattie A. Wiebers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claus and Claudine (Kaspersen) Wiebers in Arcadia, Iowa, January 7, 1903. She had lived in Manning for the past 26 years.

She had been employed at the Manning Produce Company for many years but had not worked since the first of this year.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Dwight Mehanna; her mother, with whom she made her home, caring for her mother, who has been seriously ill for some time; a sister, Mrs. Herman Meyer of Manning, and two nieces LaVerne Meyer of the WAVES and LaRene Meyer of Manning.
