Funeral services for Harry Puck, 67, of Manning were held Saturday, May 26, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning. Rev. Joel Wright of the Presbyterian Church officiated with burial in the Manning Cemetery. Bonita Hagedorn was the organist and Judy Joens the soloist.

Harry Puck, the son of William and Margaretha Joens Puck, was born on November 14, 1905 in Audubon County. He attended rural schools near his home, and later farmed with his parents. He retired five years ago to Manning where he lived with his sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Bernhard, Pete, and George, and two sisters, Laura, and Frieda Berkheimer.

Survivors include the following brothers and sisters: Alvina Ewoldt, Kiron; Albert Puck, Denison, William Puck, Manning; Minnie Claussen, Manning; Ella Puck and Maggie Puck, Manning; Adolph Puck, Manilla; Edward Puck, Manning; nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.


Harry Puck is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
