Gustav Ress, 79, Is Taken by Death Gustav Ress, 79, of Manilla, father of Hugo Ress and Mrs. Eustace Lake of Manning, died at his home in Manilla yesterday, August 4, 1947.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Lutheran Church at Manilla.

Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

In addition to his son and daughter in Manning, Mr. Ress survived by his wife, Wilhelmine (Fischer) Ress, and eight other children.

Gustav was born in Germany September 20, 1867.
