Gertrude Wiese, Oldest Resident Of Manning, Dies
Passes Away This Morning at Home Of Her Daughter
Funeral Services Will Be Held On Friday Afternoon
Mrs. Gertrude Wiese, 92, the oldest resident of Manning, died of double pneumonia at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Mueller, in Manning early Wednesday morning.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Ohde funeral home in Manning with the Rev. George E. Steele, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiating.

BORN IN GERMANY
Mrs. Wiese was born in Germany November 8, 1844. She had lived in Manning 49 years.

This year Mrs. Wiese celebrated her birthday anniversary with her children and grandchildren and she was never in better health than at that time.

She is survived by two daughters, Agnes (Mrs. Ferdinand) Lamp and Anna (Mrs. Henry) Mueller of Manning, and four sons, Adam, Ed and Albert Wiese of Manning and Dr. Charles Wiese of Lake City.
