Gertrude Margaret Meislahn, 53, Manning, died January 31 at he Manning Plaza. Funeral services were February 1 at 2 p.m. at the Ohde Funeral Home.


Gertrude Margaret Meislahn, 53, of Manning died early Saturday, January 31, 1976, at the Manning Plaza nursing home, where she had resided for the last several years, Rites were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ohde Funeral Home here, with burial in the Gray Cemetery. The Rev. Ivan Rose, minister of the United Methodist Church of Gray, officiated.

Pallbearers were Raymond Bosche, Mike Rohe, Merlin Rohe, Jonnie Meislahn, John Meislahn, and Larry Hansen.

Born October 18, 1922, near Gray, Miss Meislahn was a daughter of Berhardt and Anna (Breder) Meislahn. She made her home with her parents and since their deaths in 1964 and 1965, had lived in various nursing homes.

The following brothers and sisters survive: Herman and Mrs. R.L. (Evelyn) Morrell of Gray, Chris of Denison, Mrs. Francis (Selma) Bosche and Mrs. Gene (Leona) Rohe of Manning, and Alvin of Des Moines. Many nieces and ephews also survive.
