Following the committal service, all friends and relatives are invited to return to the church for luncheon and fellowship.

Funeral services for Mrs. Orren Schroeder will be held Thursday, August 16, 1979, 10:000 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, Iowa.

Officiating will be Pastor Edward F. Heinicke. Dorothy Kusel will be organist.
Interment will be in Manning Cemetery.
The Ohde Funeral, Home in Manning is in charge of arrangements.

Geraldine Rosena, the daughter of Hans and Lizzie Kai Lamaack, was born on April 2, 1922 in Nishnabotna Township Crawford County, Iowa. She attended rural schools, near her home and was graduated from Manilla High School in 1939. She received Normal Training at Buena Vista College, Storm sake, Iowa, after which she taught in rural schools in Crawford County.

On July 2,1942, she was united in marriage with Orren Schroeder in Auburn, Nebraska. To this union was born one daughter. They lived and farmed north of Aspinwall until the present time.

Geraldine has been very, active in community affairs. She became ill about four months ago and died on August 13, 1479, at St. Anthony Hospital, Carroll, Iowa, at the, age of 57 years, 4 months, 11 days.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen, in 1950, by her parents, and a brother, Henry Lamaack.
She is survived by her husband Orren; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Meggers, Aspinwall, and Mrs. Anna Saunders, San Leandro, California; one brother, Harry Lamaack, Botna, as well as by many other relatives and friends.


Geraldine Schroeder is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
