GEORGE PFOLTNER
George "Jerry" Pfoltner died at his home two miles south and two miles west of Manning Tuesday night, June 5, 1956, after a long illness. He was in his early seventies.
The body is at the Ohde Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Pastor George Eschenbacher, of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. The place of the rites has not been set.
Mr. Pfoltner is survived by his wife, the former Ida Kai; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Lorene) Pfannkuch and Mrs. Merle (Phyllis) Callender, Manning; a son, Harold, stationed with the Air Force at Montgomery, Alabama; four grandchildren; three brothers, Hans, Charles, and Herman Pfoltner, Manning; and five sisters: Mrs. R.G. (Lillian) Fordyce, Spokane, Washington; Mrs. Hertha Trobaugh, Anaconda, Montana; Mrs. Irwin Stuedeman, Renwick; Mrs. Katie Herman, Manning; and Mrs. Louis (Alma) Schelldorf, Manning.

Master Sergeant Harold Pfoltner of Montgomery, Alabama, spent a few days in Manning, called by the illness of his father, George Pfoltner, who died Tuesday.

GEORGE PFOLTNER
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ohde Funeral Home here for George Pfoltner, 71, who died Tuesday night at his home southwest of Manning. Pastor George Eschenbacher, of Zion Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery, with nephews serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Pfoltner was born August 21, 1883, in Schleswig Holstein.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, one son, four grandchildren, three brothers and five sisters.
