GEORGE OAKLEY George Dewey Oakley died at his home here early Friday morning, August 17, 1956. He had suffered a stroke some time ago and had been a patient in the Manning Hospital and also at the State University of Iowa Hospitals.

The body is at the Ohde Funeral Home here, awaiting completion of arrangements.

Mr. Oakley is survived by his wife, Clara, children and grandchildren.

At the time he became ill he was a Raleigh representative. He had previously been a school bus driver here.

Son of Henry and Elizabeth (McCall) Oakley, he was born November 15, 1989, in Taylor County, Iowa.
