George H. Struve Of Manning Dies George H. Struve, 64, Manning farmer and resident of the Manning community since boyhood, died at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll, Friday morning, February 6, 1953, where he had been a patient since January 4.

Funeral Monday
Funeral services will be held at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, Monday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Gordon Zimmerman of the Audubon Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Mr. Struve was born in Clinton County, March 31, 1888, to Carsten and Margaretha (Joens) Struve, and came to Carroll County as a boy. He would have been 65 years old in March.

His first wife, the former Bertha Nulle, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his second wife the former Minnie Jensen, six brothers and sisters, five children, and several grandchildren.

Surviving Children
His children are Mrs. Harry (Leona) Nulle of Manning, Iowa; Mrs. Haselet (Gladys) McWilliams of San Diego, California; Mrs. Clarence (Ruby) Edmunds of Manning, Iowa; and Ruth and Roy Struve who live at home.

Surviving brothers and sisters are Claus Struve of Omaha, John J. and Pete Struve of Manning, Mrs. Herbert (Margaret) Hinze of Arcadia; Emil Struve of Porterville California; and Mrs. Heinz (Lillian) Brandt of Manning.

Besides his first wife, Mr. Struve also was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Ferdinand Hill of Manning, a brother, William Struve, of Manning, and another sister who died in infancy.
